A couple of useful (or not) links

Fellow lead enthusiasts (and miniature lovers)
Today I cut a few trees in Chadstone Park and saw a game of Lacrosse....anyone ever heard of it?!?!
It's a MAD sport, it was so much fun to watch I almost chopped an off a few times (but no, no compo claims for me thus far this lifetime)
So the bases have arrivedfor Rules of Engagement and they're so CUTE! Itsie bitsie 8mm bases for 10mm soldiers, my partner even said they look very nice indeed - of course I for one believe a non-gamer's perspective is always so much more critical and to the point than that of a convert's. Mind you had she said "they're horrible" I'd probably be saying non-gamers couldn't tell a good mini from a crumpled piece of aluminum foil so it's all relative, really!
Onto tonight's reading, though, I found the following with may be of some interest
Rules of Engagement Tutorial - explaining the basic game mechanics
Artizan Miniatures Painting Guide - there's one for each list in the book but this one does a great job online
Madaxeman's 10mm Directory - to know what you buy, in essence

And I've also discovered Pendraken is not the only 10mm manufacturer!
There is also Perrin and Pithead miniatures, and once upon a time there was GFI but they are apparently having some problems of late. No 10mm civilians then it seems....for now!

Now onto bed for this here gamer (yup...on a Saturday night!)
Hope you're all well and we'll roll some square ones somewhere soon
S
